Picture this:

Opening your mailbox to find a beautifully calligraphed envelope with your name artfully written on it with a pretty little stamp in the corner. How special does that make you feel?! Opening the envelope to find an invitation printed on beautiful papers that as soon as you look at it, it screams that couples style. You immediately know that this wedding is going to be beautiful, it's going to be outside and by the casual vibe of the invite that your favourite sundress is the perfect thing to wear. That first impression makes you feel thought of and excited to attend, right? And maybe if you're as in love was stationery as we are you'll hang it on the fridge or pin it to your bulletin board.

Now that you've waited and the day is finally here you're arriving to the ceremony. Walking in you're greeted by a welcome sign that is hand lettered and oh so beautiful. As you make your way to your seat and pick up a program that doubles as a hand fan, what a great idea for a ceremony in the sun. The program makes it easy to follow along to the ceremony and you know exactly who that bridesmaid is that you recognize but can't quite put your finger on.

Following the ceremony, cocktail hour starts, sitting on the bar is a framed sign that describes 'his' and 'hers' cocktails, good thing because 'his' drink suits your tastes much better.

The reception starts and you're about to sit to eat, finding your name on the seating chart is a breeze because it's in alphabetical order, which is great because they're is a lot of guests and it would have taken forever to find your name. You find your seat by a table card that is popping up just above the centrepiece that is named "Paris' with a picture of the couple in front of the Eiffel Tower, how sweet. Your seat has the prettiest place card with your name in the same calligraphy that was on your wedding invitation envelope. You remember choosing the chicken option on your reply card before you mailed it back. The menu on the plate describes all the yummy sides that come along with it and the delicious dessert to come.

You have the most amazing time dancing the night away, before you leave you grab one of the adorable favours off the table that has a tiny tag explaining that the little box of fudge was handmade by the brides grandmother and is a family favourite.

Doesn't that sound like a lovely wedding? Obviously not all these pieces are necessary for a successful event, but are certainly a thoughtful addition. They aid your guests in the flow of the day and they answer common questions guests may have. Plus, they can be any design you choose, there are so many ways to make these pieces special to you and your fiancee and compliment the day perfectly. We definitely think stationery is a additional touch for your decor while being so practical.
